The colors you use tell potential customers important things about your company.
They should be a reflection on your brand and marketing goals.
Today we are going to look at violet.
Violet is a very interesting colour. It is linked to spiritual awareness, luxury, truth and a sense of quality in objects.
It is also commonly known as purple and comes in a wide variety of shades. Everything from pale lavender to deep magenta has been termed violet at some point.
It has always been associated with luxury because the dye used to make clothes purple was rare and expensive, being only available to royalty and the Church.
Do you want to evoke feelings of luxury and superior quality in your products?
Are your clients looking for a spiritual boost?
Do you want to evoke feelings of openness and honesty, contemplation and meditation?
Then you might want to consider using one of the many shades of violet on your site.
Keep it simple, though.
Don’t use purple too much as it can cause too much introspection and your potential clients may not want to click on that Call to Action button!
