In this series of posts we are going to look at how color affects the way people perceive your website.
There is a wide body of research done that tells us about the effects of colors.
The colors you use tell potential customers important things about your company.
They should be a reflection on your brand and marketing goals.
Today we are going to look at blue.
Blue is the color of intelligence, trust, peacefulness, logic and reflection.
Although it may also come across as being unfriendly and cold, the color blue can play an important role in helping us remain calm and being more creative.
By using a blue background on your website you are telling potential clients that your company is good at coming up with new ideas and solutions to problems.
If you are providing solutions to their problems, blue is a good choice as it encourages logic and reflection.
Blue is also the color of openness and trust.
It is not a good idea to have red and blues together as these seem to evoke feelings of conflict and unrest.
If these are the core of your brand you might want to consider using them.
In previous posts we looked at the color red.
