The hackers and spammers have arrived!

When you create you create a new website there’s nothing so thrilling when a complete stranger leaves an encouraging comment.

Sadly, the ones who show up are usually spammers and hackers.

Don’t worry, there are a number of WordPress plugins which can help you manage them and keep your site safe.

The good news, however, is if the spammers can find you then so can legitimate visitors.

What are spammers good for?

It is a good indication that you are using targeted keywords in your titles and the body of your post.

It means that you have cleverly created categories and tags to maximize your posts’ exposure online.

It also means that you have something to say that is worthwhile and relevant.

Remember that longevity online means sticking at it for over three months. Most websites fail after 90 days.

This is because people give up and run out of things to say.

Blogging compelling content is hard work.

It takes dedication and time. While posts can be as short as 250 words, finding enough topics to write about three to four times a day can be difficult.

This is especially true if you’re not a natural writer and if you’ve got other aspects of your business to attend to.
