Journaling may be something that you imagine your mom doing, but it is in fact a very powerful tool.
Journaling is the new buzz word for keeping a diary.
Now, that we all have day diaries, keeping a journal have evolved into the preferred method of writing down one’s thoughts.
However, there’s more to it than that.
The folks from The Journaling Club are keen to share their wisdom on their new site.
While quite simple in its layout, The Journaling Club offers some great ideas and tips.
Journaling is more than just writing down what you did that day.
Make keeping a journal a part of your day
It is a great way to de-stress and unwind.
The Journaling Club tells us that we can actually deal with traumatic issues by giving our minds space and time to deal with them.
We may start by writing down one thing, but if our subconscious needs to deal with an important issue, it’ll end up on the page.
This is a good thing because when we write things down we are not only expressing how we feel, we are also developing the skills to articulate them too.
This means when we have to confront someone we will speak clearer and more succinctly.
This allows us to stay in control of our emotions and find a resolution everyone is happy with.
