The colors you use tell potential customers important things about your company.

They should be a reflection on your brand and marketing goals.

Today we are going to look at black.

In the past 25 years people’s attitude towards black has changed a lot.

It was once only worn to funerals being the traditional color of mourning.

Business suits were traditionally black, or at least dark grey, to impress upon others the seriousness of the industry.

Let’s not forget the cowboy with the black hat – he was always the bad guy!

The color, or to be more correct, the shade black occurs because of an absence of light. White or light has always been associated with purity and good.

Today, however, black has become an iconic device used by influential people to appear sophisticated and glamourous.

Using black on your website conveys a level of seriousness about your business. You are telling your visitors that you are worthwhile and substantial.

Black is a strong, powerful colour and can be over stimulating, which may lead to depression.
