When you first start your blog it’s never hard to come up with topics to write about.
However, as the days and weeks roll on you may find that you run out of ideas.
What are your competitors doing?
Follow like-minded blogs and get inspiration from what they are posting. Do not copy their exact articles. That would be plagiarism and that is bad for business. Instead, look at what they are saying.
Is there an angle they’ve forgotten or is there something missing from their post?
Can you add more to the ideas they have presented?
What’s on the news?
Scan the news websites for events which you can link back to your topic. You may not find any at first, but there is always something which you can use even if it is obscure.
For example, perhaps you own a bicycle store and the Tour de France is happening. Is there any tips you could offer to would be cyclists in these conditions?
Are the riders wearing a product you can recommend?
What online sources do you use?
What are your favorite websites? As a top influencer you must get your inspiration from somewhere. Share your ten top websites and explain what you get out of them.
Being online can be tedious and frustrating.
You have to come up with new and refreshing information all the time.
However, with a bit of practise and some lateral thinking you can always find inspiration to keep on writing and building your online presence.
