In this series of posts we are going to look at how color affects the way people perceive your website.
There is a wide body of research done that tells us about the effects of colors.
The colors you use tell potential customers important things about your company, brand and values.
They should be a reflection of what you stand for and also, what you hope to achieve.
Colors can affect how people behave on your website, so they should be taken seriously.
Today we are going to look at orange.
Being a blend of red and yellow, orange is stimulating both physically and emotionally.
Let’s face it, orange is a fun colour.
Being essentially a warm colour, using orange on your website will evoke feelings of nurturing in areas such as food, physical comfort and love.
If you want to help your visitors feel less stressed, centred and mindful, then the use of orange will help.
Orange can stimulate ideas and revitalize your site’s visitors into action in a perceived supportive environment.
Don’t overdo it though.
Orange has also been linked to things that are silly and lack intelligence.
In previous posts we looked at the colors blue, red, violet and green, just to name a few.
