Today we are going to look at how bloggers can use measurable targets to set achievable goals.
Setting goals is a large part of being successful in any setting.
Most goals are related to sales and income, but they don’t have to be.
Some goals measure brand awareness and success of posts and social media activities.
Setting measurable goals
Whatever goals you want to set make sure they can be measured in some way.
It is no use stating that you want to sell a thousand dollars a month from your site.
You will need to know where these purchasers are coming from and who they are.
This will not only help you understand what the appeal of your product is, but when sales drop off, you’ll know which market to target with advertisements.
Google analytics and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter offer analytics on posts and followers.
You can use Google’s goal conversion to see how many people leave any webpage and go to your store, sign up to your email program or visit another page.
You can even add a monetary value to these visits.
When your goals are measurable they are much more specific.
These details will help you understand them more when things go right and act when things start to go bad.
