Does the quality of your blog content matter?

While there are many experts who will tell you that it is very significant to blog on a regular basis, it is important to remember that the quality of your blog posts is crucial in keeping visitors coming back.

While great titles will bring people to your site, your content is going to keep them there.

Your blog posts need to keep the promise you gave in your title and they need to be entertaining, engaging and inspiring.

Having said that content shouldn’t be too long winded either.

Keep it simple and keep it short

We all know that people’s attention spans are getting shorter.

It is better to have a great, short post than a great long-winded one which people are not going to finish reading.

If they are not going to get to the end, how are they going to click on your Call to Action button?

If you find your articles are going over the 300 word mark, why not break them up into smaller articles which you can link together?

This way you’ll have shorter posts which your visitors will love and they’ll stay on your site longer going from post to post.

Make sure you write at least one thing that your visitors can take away with them.

That way you would have given them what they wanted and they’ll come back for more.

I fall under the short reader span category and I took away two things.
    1. Break long post into shorter ones
    2. Give your readers a take away.

    Thanks 🙂
