Getting the Right Amount of Exercise
Sitting still at a computer for long periods of time is not good for your health.
Research has proved it, but a bit of common sense will tell you the same.
Get up and walk around every couple of hours.
Just because you are on a writing roll doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop.
Don’t worry, take your muse for walk in the fresh air and it will do the both of you some good.
Eating and Avoiding Stress
Drinking coffee seems to be linked to writing like salt is to the sea.
However, too much caffeine isn’t good for you.
Drink a lot of water, preferably with lemon juice, and choose healthy snacks.
This will help boost your immune system and keep your brain awake.
The Negative Effect of Stress
Stress can have a very negative effect on the writing process.
You may not be fully aware of what it is doing, but it is certainly not conducive of creativity.
Look after yourself and your writing will improve.
